GOODBYE
One night when I got home from work, I found my tabby, Floof, out on the balcony. The sight I saw made me jump back in horror. She was lying motionless, mouth slightly ajar and a dark substance dripping from her behind. She was still alive and I immediately called the vet. Watching her like that and unable to help take away her pain was tough.
She was admitted and kept on fluids. Inside, I prayed that she would somehow miraculously pull through. I looked up articles on when to put a cat to sleep. I cried, thinking of her suffering and battling with myself to put her out of her misery. The thought of watching a needle take away her life was unbearable but I knew it would be the right thing for her. I had Floof since she was a kitten. Unfortunately, she passed over to the rainbow bridge.
