REUBEN THE RASCAL AND THE RUNAWAY RODENT
I came home from work one afternoon when I saw my parents watching Reuben with a mouse that he hadn’t rendered rodent food yet. Mr. Mouse retaliated by rushing at Reuben, Reuben refusing to slay his rodent rival.
Reuben then ran Mr. Mouse upstairs into a bedroom. Mr. Mouse tried to hide behind a cabinet. To relieve the room of the rodent situation, I managed to gently budge it into a bucket and release outside into more mouse-friendly milieu.
However, Reuben decided to run another rodent into our residence, which ran upstairs into a rumpus room. The mouse hid and evaded any attempts at meeting us. All because Reuben refused to raze his rodent rival. Rascal!
