MY CONSTRUCTION ASSISTANT
I was assembling flat-pack furniture, and Skates was playing with the boxes. (Actually he was eating the boxes.) While I was using the Allen wrench, Skates started batting the screwdriver around. It’s a pretty fun toy on a tile floor!
I come to the point where I need the screwdriver. Skates is about 6 feet away, on the other side of the furniture being put together. I didn’t want to have to stand up, so I said “Skates, please pass me the screwdriver.”
He batted it towards me and returned to eating the boxes.
